Angell Animal Art

Hi, I'm Lindsay Angell and I adore capturing nature and wildlife in their habitat. Ever since I was little I have loved art and animals. I grew up surrounded by animals (quite literally, as my parents were Vets and we lived above the surgery). Creating art is so therapeutic, it has a magical power that uplifts me no matter what. I studied Art through to degree level and have taught art ever since. I paint with acrylics and create drawings using polychromos pencil crayons. I work on a variety of pet portrait commissions all year round and in between these I am developing a series of work based on the beauties of the British Wildlife. The natural world is so precious and I love taking the time to really observe and capture it! We really need to take care of the natural world and all of its special species.
